i generally hate touchy feely crap, but

Go in search of your people:
Love Them;

Learn from Them;

Plan with Them;

Serve Them;

Begin with what They have;

Build on what They know.\

But of the best leaders
;
when their task is accomplished,
their work is done,

The people all remark:

"We have done it ourselves."

stop frame loveliness

the way we see things No.11 from ArthurSteenHorneAdamson on Vimeo.

our lovely Hub World design intern, Zoe, did this at her last project. 1 day in a shed. 14 hours non-stop moving objects. 108 frames. 1 beautiful animation.

the tao of entreprenuership

meet tao. he is a new born kitten, full of curiosity, energy and feist. because he's little he thinks he's invincible and he chases things that are a little too big for him. he admits this so he tries to take advice from more grown up cats. but sometimes he ignores it. this has good consequences and not so good consequences. this is not unusual behaviour for little cats. thankfully, the skoll foundation has set up a forum for him and his buddies to discuss these behaviours - the things that are great about passion, and the things that stop this passion from going in the right direction. it makes for some interesting, and very relevant, information.

cadbury goes fairtrade

i am very interested in people's opinion of cadbury's celebration of their new found fairtrade status - in particular how they've portrayed Ghana.

tinkerbell

i've been reading a lot of fairy stories recently - Hans Christian Anderson was full of genius insight - and the return of folk to the mainstream must have hit the UN. Tinkerbell has become the new ambassador of green.

from Angelina Jolie to a fictional character - it's an interesting move. What does it say about the green movement - kick ass to cartoon? reality to fiction? If you want a green fairy, why not get Kylie to revisit her role from Moulin Rouge? I'm sure that'd go much further in getting people's attention...
